To renovate a duplex apartment inspired by the Mediterranean and Tuscan style.

We took inspiration from country style cottages and kept a few contemporary elements in place. We dug down the entrance porch to blend with the living area located in the basement. The view from the living area gives a feel of sitting in a country style villa with a view of rubbled stone & green.

The ground floor protruding balconies were given a glass floor to allow maximum sunlight penetration to the living area below. The living area is divided into various sections, an antique ship model was converted into a light installation and placed above the pool table. The upper ground floor has been done in classic white and wood to create a very serene and warm environment as the areas are meant to be used by the family itself. We've converted the shaft in the family living area into a greenhouse to get the outdoors, inside.
